Arthroplasty

Joint replacement, also known as arthroplasty, can relieve pain and restore function for a worn out joint. The questionnaires at the following links can help show if a joint replacement should be discussed:

Repair or reconstruction of injured soft tissue structures in the knee or shoulder may be required to restore strength and stability to a joint. An unstable joint may be painful and limit use for strenuous activities, or in severe cases, with day to day tasks.
